Grand duke Henri and grand duchess Maria Teresa of Luxembourg paid a state visit to Denmark. Mary participated in some of the activities, her first official functions.

After military honours and presentation of the personalities, the grand ducal couple was driven to Fredensborg Palace for a private meal. Mary accompanied Frederik.
At night Mary was present at the gala dinner at Fredensborg.
